M-F tbd* Unpaid Lunch Break No Holiday work, Overtime or travel required No Parking Provided DUTIESProcess tax and insurance paymentsPrepare tax, insurance, and reserve for replacement analysis reportsAssist in reconciliation of tax and insurance clearing accountUpdate and provide Asset Mgt Department with list of outstanding project T&I billsMaintain T&I tickler reportVerify bank transactions to source documentsReview bank statements and promptly follow-up on outstanding itemsReview transaction postings to the General Ledger from EBSPrepare annual 1099 tax filing reportsPerform other duties as necessary QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in AccountingStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesApproximately 2-4 years of related progressive experience (gov't or non-profit a plus).Demonstrated ability to manage accounting functionsUnderstanding of financial securities and investments, including mortgages, municipal bond financing, tax & insurance function, escrow accountsSuccessful candidate must demonstrate ability to pay attention to detail , multi-task, prioritize, have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to work independentlyStrong computer skills required (Microsoft Office)Experience using tier 1 ERP a plus Salary commensurate with scope of work job experience Proper footwear required to perform tasks in a safe manner.
