Costa, the newest addition to the Wild Thyme Restaurant Group and our 7th restaurant to open in Sedona, is looking for a passionate and dedicated cook to join our team. Costa will offer a unique Latin-inspired dining experience, and we’re excited to welcome talented individuals who are eager to grow with us in this new venture. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. Job Expectations: ServSafe certification is required. Report directly to the Chef de Cuisine and the Executive Chef. Manage all back-of-house operations in the absence of the chefs. Support food cost control and minimize food waste. Complete the end-of-day inventory log and submit it to your direct report. Complete all unit’s daily temperature control logs. Inspect daily orders for quality, quantity, and price accuracy. Perform all daily shift responsibilities as outlined in the Shift Responsibilities Checklist. Requirements and skills: Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Familiar with industry’s best practices What We Offer: A highly competitive hourly wage based on your skills and experience.
