Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and
experienced Project Engineer to for one of General Contractor
clients. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a highly
skilled team in the construction industry and to contribute to the
successful completion of our projects. The successful candidate
will be responsible for coordinating all technical activities on
assigned projects, ensuring that all processes and procedures are
followed, and that project deadlines and quality standards are met.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive
compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
Manage and
coordinate all project engineering activities to ensure project
execution is on schedule and within budget.Review and process submittals, ensuring compliance with project
specifications and requirements.
Coordinate
the procurement and delivery of materials, ensuring timely
availability for project implementation.Collaborate with the project management team to design and
implement construction plans.
Conduct regular
site visits to monitor project progress and ensure quality
control.
Troubleshoot and resolve any
technical issues that may arise during the construction
process.
Prepare and present project status
reports to stakeholders, providing detailed updates on project
progress, challenges, and solutions.
Ensure
compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a
safe and clean working environment.Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders,
ensuring effective communication and coordination at all
levels.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering,
Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Project Engineer role within
the construction industry.
Proven experience
in processing submittals, construction management, and material
coordination.
Strong knowledge of construction
processes, materials, and legal regulations.Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask
and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot
technical issues and implement effective
solutions.
Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
with a diverse team of professionals.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management
software.
A valid driver’s license and the
ability to travel to various project sites as
needed.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is
