Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Up to $800 Sign on bonus! We are looking for compassionate and dedicated DSPs to add to our team in our growing residential and community programs. As a DSP at MVRA, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community. You will work closely with our team to help individuals increase their skills for greater independence and achieve their goals. Schedules: Full time and part time schedules are available For more details, send questions to Lillian.Campbell@mvra.us Qualifications: A strong work ethic and dependability An understanding of working as a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Requirements: 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent DSP certification CRMA certification (residential requirement only) A valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation Ability to pass the background check requirements Availability to remain awake throughout a 12 hour overnight shift (for awake overnight schedule) Proof of MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, and influenza vaccinations (residential requirement only) Responsibilities: Provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism Assist with daily living activities Administer medication following regulations and guidelines Ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained Encourage and support individuals to increase their independence Empower individuals to understand their rights and advocate for their needs Maintain compliance with all state and federal rules and regulations Why Work With Us: We are committed to building a supportive and inclusive environment We provide opportunities for professional growth and development We are passionate about helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve their goals If you are a compassionate and dedicated individual passionate about helping others, and you have the availability to match our needs, we hope you consider applying today!
