Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Controller located in Midland, TX, with flexibility for partial remote work. The Controller will oversee financial reporting, analysis, and compliance to ensure the financial health of the organization. Responsibilities include managing budget processes, financial forecasting, general ledger activities, and adhering to regulatory requirements. The role collaborates closely with the executive team to guide strategic financial planning and advises on cost management, tax, and audit processes. The Controller will also manage a team and ensure best practices in internal controls and financial operations. Qualifications Expertise in Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis, and Budget ManagementProficiency in General Ledger Management, Tax Planning, and Audit PreparationStrong skills in Compliance, Internal Controls, and Risk ManagementExperience with Accounting Systems, Financial Software, and Data Analysis ToolsProven leadership and team management abilitiesExceptional strategic planning, organizational, and problem-solving skillsCPA or equivalent professional certification strongly preferredBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree is a plusExperience in the private equity sector or related industries is advantageous
