This is a high-impact mission where you will use C++, Python, and Ada to create virtual environments that validate advanced avionics and mission-critical systems.The Role Design and develop high-fidelity simulation models and virtual environments for the F-22 air superiority platform. Collaborate in an Agile environment to build frameworks that support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) integration labs and desktop development. Modernize legacy simulation software by migrating systems to new operating systems using containerization and software abstraction. Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation software with real-world hardware devices and flight-representative systems. Develop and refine simulation algorithms, visualizations, and automated test procedures to optimize system performance.What You'll Need Primary expertise in C++, Python, Ada, or C# with at least 1 year of hands-on experience (academic or professional). Proven experience working within both Linux and Windows operating systems environments. Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies and version control tools like Git. Exposure to real-time software development, embedded systems, or modern technologies like Rust and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). U.S. Citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.What's On Offer Competitive salary range of $73,100 - $98,900 based on experience and qualifications.
