2nd Shift Supervisor

Warehouse SupervisorSupervise daily activities of team warehouse workers to ensure safe and efficient inbound, outbound and storage functions are met.Essential duties and responsibilities:Supervise, direct and coach warehouse shift workersOversee and coordinate movement and handling of incoming and outgoing inventory and associated documentationSupervise inventory tagging programCoordinate documentation of pertinent inventory information as required. Research if necessaryCoordinate and communicate with Truck Drivers as necessaryOversee convenience cutting operationPerform and oversee inventory location transfer logging as specified by procedureMaintain complete inter shift communicationsMaintain high level of safety during shiftCoordinate work order and other paperwork flow as requiredInteract with sale department as requiredCommunicate with Processing and Traffic Managers as requiredContribute to annual employee performance reviews for department personnelPerform appropriate coaching of shift employees including reprimands and/or disciplinary actions as required, in accordance with company policy and in cooperation with department headAssist in the formulation and maintenance of procedural manuals for all major department functionsRegularly analyze shift performance through the use of specific management reportsImplement and enforce all company policies and proceduresAct as liaison for regular communication among shiftsPerformance of any/all Warehouse Department tasks as required by the absence of a department member or due to the existence of a backlog of workFill in as supervisor for other shifts as required or as requested by managementSpecial projects as assigned by managementSEAA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of steel industry professionals.
