This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations within a growing organization. particularly those curious about government consulting, veteran-owned businesses, and purpose-driven leadership.Working Conditions & Location: Remote / Hybrid (Texas or Kansas City, MO)Duration: 10 weeksHours: 10-20 hours/weekKey Responsibilities:Assist with sourcing candidates through LinkedIn and other platformsScreen resumes and help coordinate interviewsDraft and post job descriptionsMaintain candidate tracking within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Support recruiting metrics and reportingAssist with onboarding coordination and new hire documentationHelp maintain HR trackers and employee recordsSupport employee engagement initiatives and internal communicationsAssist with process documentation and workflow improvementsSkills and Areas of Interest:Interest in federal government contracting (GovCon) recruiting and HR operationsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAnalytical mindset with interest in recruiting metrics and data trackingProfessional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentInterest in compliance, documentation standards, and structured hiring processesCollaborative mindset and comfort working with cross-functional teamsPreferred Qualifications:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related fieldInterest in government consulting, veteran-owned businesses, or mission-driven organizationsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage confidential informationAbility to work in a fast-paced and collaborative virtual environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with LinkedIn or ATS systems is a plusSelf-starter - can work independently and within a teamLearning Objectives:Gain hands-on experience recruiting within a federal government contracting environmentDevelop familiarity with compliance considerations, documentation standards, and clearance-related processesBuild professional communication skills through collaboration with candidates, hiring managers, and contract stakeholders$10 - $20 an hourWe are committed to diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
