MEP SuperintendentMultiple Locations: Richmond, VA, Atlanta, GA, Texas, Santa Clara, CAFull-Time/Direct Hire RoleDescriptionThe MEP Superintendent's is responsible for successfully managing all MEP critical deliverables for the project including early planning, develop schedule, coordinate MEP activities, manage critical equipment deliveries, and manage energization safety. Capable of developing required MEP tools to effectively plan, coordinate and manage all activities related to the MEP construction, startup, and commissioning of the mechanical, electrical, and control systems in accordance with the contract documents and project schedule. Responsible for training and mentoring junior staff members.ResponsibilitiesAssist bidding mechanical and electrical tradesReview mechanical and electrical submittalsManage Equipment Procurement processDevelop MEP critical path scheduleTrack and coordinate equipment deliveriesCoordinate and track critical path construction and startup activitiesOrganize and conduct project meetings for critical MEP activitiesDevelop MOP for critical work in live environmentsWork with subcontractors and design team to provide conflict resolution for MEP issuesCoordinate and manage the quality control process for MEP systems constructionManage startup and pretesting of mechanical and electrical systemsCoordinate and support third party commissioning activitiesManage commissioning documentationBuild strong subcontractor and client relationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience4 years' experience in Mechanical or Electrical System Construction3 years combined experience in Mission Critical Construction, Hospital Construction, MEP Project Management, or Mechanical and Electrical System Start-up and CommissioningStrong communication skills; verbal and writtenStrong leadership skills; able to build and lead a teamCapable of coordinating and scheduling MEP activitiesAptitude for problem solvingAbility to work independentlyMotivated self-starterEffectively utilize computer and software technology in the performance of dutiesPreconstruction / Equipment Procurement ExperienceWilling to travelPay Summary:Base salary around $140k, depending on experience, plus bonus
