This role focuses on improving data visibility, strengthening manufacturing analytics, and supporting automation system improvements to drive informed decision-making across the organization.Responsibilities Include:Aggregate and structure manufacturing data from multiple sources and databasesDevelop and enhance interactive dashboards using Power BIBuild automated reports to support operational, quality, and performance metricsUtilize SQL, Excel, and database systems for data extraction and analysisApply Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and process optimizationAssist with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) enhancement initiativesSupport PLC-related improvements (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)Collaborate on industrial networking and communication protocol integrationHelp troubleshoot system issues and support process improvementsEnsure alignment with safety standards and regulatory requirementsLearning Outcomes:Aggregate and clean manufacturing data from multiple sources and databasesWrite SQL queries to extract and manipulate operational dataUse Python or R for data analysis and process improvement insightsDesign and deploy interactive dashboards in Power BITranslate complex datasets into clear, actionable business insightsUnderstand the structure and function of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES)Support MES enhancement initiatives within a live production environmentGain exposure to PLC programming platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)Understand industrial networking and communication protocolsApply safety standards and regulatory considerations in automation projectsApply structured problem-solving in a manufacturing settingImprove cross-functional communication between engineering, IT, and operationsDevelop project documentation and technical reporting skillsStrengthen time management and prioritization in a plant environmentContribute to data-driven decision-making initiativesEducation/Experience Requirements:Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related fieldExperience with SQL, Excel, and database systemsProgramming knowledge in Python or RFamiliarity with Tableau or Power BIUnderstanding of APIs and system integrationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to translate data into actionable insightsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesExposure to PLC programming and industrial communication protocols preferredJ-18808-Ljbffr
