You will also be responsible for writing documents used for technical specifications and to manage the projects for scope creepThe requirements you identify and document will be crucial to building client initiatives, forming the backbone of all historical work done by the agency.What You Will Bring To The OrganizationThe BA will work closely with Account Management, Development and Project Management teams to help create competitive features for our solutions and identify and manage scope creep.Assist in eliciting and defining requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business rules analysis, metrics & KPI definition, use cases, and other BA tools and techniques as requiredWork with the Account Management, Strategy, and Executive Leadership teams and our clients to identify and develop business requirements for new and existing technical projects with supervision from Sr. ManagerCollaborate with Development/Testing/Support teams, as well as SMEs to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needsProactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal partners under guidance of management to analyze information needs for functional requirementsIdentify and communicate potential process gaps to Lead / Manager for review/remediationFacilitate the Quality Assurance (QA) team in writing test cases for solution validationAct as the liaison between clients, business units, technology teams and support teamsEnsure documentation on the product stays relevant and requirements are detailed enough to manage assumptions, risks, and out-of-scope situationsSkills And Experience We Would Like You To Have3+ years' experience working on data-driven or software/application/web-based projects, or in the marketing and communications field as a BA working with technical solutionsECBA, CCBA or CBAP or other certificate related to Business Analysis preferredStrong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirementsKnowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, waterfall and agile project frameworksHighly organized and comfortable working in fast-paced environments with quick turnaround times and shifting prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate and build relationships with diverse groups including clients, executives, managers, and SMEs, as well as steer decisions and articulate solutionsStrong interview and facilitation skills to gather requirements from other lines of businessInquisitive nature, comfortable and confident with voicing and discussing important information Ability to function independently with supervision and mentorship from Lead / ManagerAbility to work alongside partners with differing priorities to reach consensus on requirements, raising to Lead / Manager when neededComfortable with navigating ambiguity and simplifying complex situationsAbility to write clear yet concise requirements with an emphasis of quality over quantityUnderstanding of concepts related to data architecture and relational database designProficient in translating/capturing requirements as actionable work items via task management tools such as Jira/Azure DevOps/Monday/TrelloExperience in designing complex data-driven applications & reportsAble to work with User Interface elements to develop mockups, wireframes and functional specifications/annotationsProficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio
