The NPD Practitioner participates in setting objectives for assigned programs in alignment with organizational strategic plan and identified program opportunities. This includes participation in developing short- and long-term education strategies in collaboration with Center for Professional Practice of Nursing (CPPN) leadership and senior management, including identifying training needs, competency requirements, and initiatives to improve the delivery of service. The NPD Practitioner manages the assigned educational programs including maintenance of accreditation and acting as liaison between accrediting agency and CPPN leadership. The NPD Practitioner provides leadership in assigned programs through identification of specific learning outcomes, leading innovative educational design, identifying and leading adjunct faculty as appropriate for the educational program, and providing oversight and guidance to administrative staff to ensure record keeping meets needs of all stakeholders, including accrediting bodies as applicable. The NPD Practitioner monitors and ensures compliance with regulations for assigned programs, including adherence to policy, training and leadership of adjunct faculty, policy development, and maintenance of records.
