How You Contribute to The TeamThe SPF Cell Machine Operator is responsible for various tasks in the manufacturing of garage door springs according to customer and product specifications. Set-up and operate equipment. Select robot program options according to production requirements. Monitor workflow through heat treatment process.Change over and ensure proper tooling is used according to specifications. Unload finished product onto pallets and/or racks ensuring proper quantities are in bundles. Consistently meet or exceed established key performance indicators.Utilize computers at different points in the process to complete required tasks. Complete preventive maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.Complete daily clean up and 5S responsibilities. What You Need to SucceedHigh school diploma or GED.Manufacturing experience. Computer programming aptitude for robotic and automated equipment. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in using hand and measurement tools.High level of attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills.Dependability and a willingness to learn.This position will frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.Team members are paid weekly. The target hourly pay range is $21.50 to $24.50 depending on qualifications, experience, education, and other factors.
