Human Resources & Dispatch Team MemberWild Waves Theme & WaterparkPosition SummaryHuman Resources & Dispatch Team Members support the daily operation of the Human Resources and Dispatch office by assisting team members, applicants, guests, and vendors. This role is responsible for scheduling interviews, processing new hire paperwork, maintaining accurate employment and timekeeping records, and supporting onboarding, training, and team member engagement programs.This position also provides operational support across the park as needed and plays a key role in delivering excellent internal customer service while supporting compliance, communication, and park operations.Skills, Requirements & QualificationsMust be 18 years of age or older Prior Human Resources or administrative experience preferred Park or seasonal operations experience a plus Strong guest service and communication skills Strong computer skills and comfort using HR systems (Paycor experience a plus) Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively Ability to communicate professionally with guests, coworkers, leadership, and vendors Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays General Duties & ResponsibilitiesGuest & Team Member ServiceProvide friendly, professional, and respectful service to team members, applicants, guests, and vendors Follow all guest service standards and code of conduct guidelines outlined in the Team Member Handbook SafetySupport Wild Waves’ safety-first culture by promoting a safe working environment and following all safety procedures TeamworkWork collaboratively with leadership and team members toward shared park goals CleanlinessMaintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesFront Office & Dispatch OperationsGreet team members and guests entering the HR office and assist with inquiries Operate the Dispatch Center, including answering HR phone lines, internal phones, and two-way radios Dispatch departments as required and communicate operational needs Recruitment & OnboardingSchedule and coordinate interviews for seasonal and operational roles Complete interview training and conduct interviews as directed Process new hire paperwork and onboarding documentation Assist with park orientations, training presentations, minor work law training, and park tours Employee Records & SystemsMaintain accurate employment, timekeeping, and personnel records Enter, update, and manage team member data in Paycor Pull team member and labor reports as requested by management Compliance & Labor Law SupportAssist with compliance related to Washington State labor laws and park policies Monitor timekeeping records for minor work law and overtime compliance Complete I-9 verifications within required timelines under HR leadership direction Employee Relations & EngagementAssist with planning and executing team member events, incentive programs, and recognition initiatives Support employee communication, engagement activities, and distribution of rewards Uniforms & SuppliesDistribute uniforms to new team members and maintain accurate inventory levels Organize and maintain HR storage areas Confidentiality & DocumentationHandle confidential and sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion Leadership & SupportProvide leadership through training, recognition, coaching, and leading by example Support team members with questions related to schedules, pay options, paperwork, and general park information Operational Support (as needed)Assist with operations at Front Gate, Parking, Guest Relations, Surfside (Waterpark Side), and Candy Factory (Dry Side) as directed based on park needs Other DutiesPerform additional duties as assigned based on department and park needs Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentAbility to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and handling materials Occasional climbing or balancing Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Work may occur both indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions Noise levels may range from moderate to high Reasonable accommodations may be provided to support team members in performing the essential functions of this position.
