Full Stack Developer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is searching for a Full Stack Developer for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in New York, NY .Our client's Institutional Lending Tech team needs an experienced full stack developer to help build leading-edge and scalable systems to support multiple business verticals supporting origination, underwriting, asset management, business operations, market insights, loan pricing, and risk calculations.Responsibilities:Design and develop a high-performance, scalable platform to support multiple Lending business lines.Develop and maintain reusable and testable backend and frontend components.Actively contribute to agile squad ceremonies and practices.Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards in all development activitiesRequired Skills:7+ years of a proven development experience in Java, Spring, restful micro-services5+ years of a proven web-applications development experience in Angular, JS or TS, CSS and HTMLStrong expertise in relational or document databases (Sybase, MongoDB, or similar)Experience in OOP concepts and design patternsExperience in working with modern code IDEs such as IntelliJ or VS CodeHands-on experience with AI developer productivity tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amp, or similar)Understanding in relational or document databases (SQL, MongoDB or similar)Fluent in English with Excellent communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologiesSGA is a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out.
