Our work includes high-end custom homes, commercial buildings, remodels, additions, structural inspections, structural repairs, custom structural details, framing systems, foundation design, shearwall and lateral wind bracing design, structural steel, CMU wall systems, plan reviewing, and field evaluations.We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer / Plan Reviewer to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is experienced, detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of growing with the company as our project volume and internal systems continue to evolve.ResponsibilitiesDesign and review structural systems for:Residential and commercial projectsHigh-end custom homesCommercial buildingsConventional wood framingFoundation systemsShearwall and lateral wind bracing systemsStructural steelCMU wall systemsRemodels, additions, structural repairs, and custom structural detailsPrepare custom structural details, construction notes, and engineering plansPerform structural inspections and field observations when necessaryReview plans, revisions, and redlines for accuracy, constructability, and code complianceCoordinate with drafting staff, engineers, architects, clients, builders, and contractors throughout active projectsPerform structural analysis and ensure compliance with applicable IRC/IBC requirements and engineering standardsAssist with plan reviewing and internal quality control proceduresQualificationsPE License requiredRequired 8–10 years of structural engineering experienceStrong residential and commercial structural design experience requiredProficient in AutoCAD requiredAutoCAD customization/coding experience is a strong plusStrong understanding of:Wood framingFoundation systemsStructural steelCMU wall systemsStructural inspectionsStructural repairs and remodelsShearwall and lateral bracing systemsIRC/IBC requirementsExperience preparing custom structural details and reviewing/redlining plansStrong communication skills and ability to professionally coordinate with clients, builders, architects, contractors, and other involved partiesStrong English communication skills required, both written and verbalBilingual English/Spanish communication abilities are a strong plusAbility to adapt, learn company workflow standards, and improve as the company continues to growValid driver's license requiredAbility to perform field visits when necessaryStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple active projects in a fast-paced environmentCivil engineering knowledge is a plusSelf-motivated, dependable, and solution-oriented mindset preferred Why Work With Us?Diverse residential and commercial project typesFast-paced and collaborative environmentOpportunity for long-term growthAbility to help shape company standards and workflowsConsistent and expanding project pipeline throughout TexasCompensation Note:Salary range for this position is expected to be between $100,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, licensure, and overall fit for the role.Company DescriptionWe are a fast-growing structural engineering firm based out of Fort Worth serving residential and commercial projects throughout Texas.
