We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented *Analog Hardware Design Engineer* to join our team. *This is an on-site only role located in Elyria, OH. This job is not available for sponsorship. * In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of analog circuits, with a focus on AC and DC power systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work with other electrical engineers to design, test, and optimize hardware solutions used in a variety of industries, including consumer electronics, industrial systems, and power electronics. *Key Responsibilities:* * Assist in the design and simulation of analog circuits for AC and DC power applications. * Collaborate to develop and test power conversion circuits, including rectifiers, regulators, inverters, and DC-DC converters. * Work with PCB designers to ensure efficient layout of analog components for optimal power performance. * Creating detailed engineering specifications, schematics, and documentation for power supply circuits and related systems. * Perform testing and validation of prototypes to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements. * Analyze circuit performance and recommend design improvements for efficiency, reliability, and thermal management. * Troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues in both lab environments and in the field. * Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of design practices. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in power electronics and analog design techniques. *Required Skills & Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field required. Additional education or experience strongly preferred. * *3+ years of work experience* in electrical engineering, PCB design, analog design or related required. * Strong understanding of analog circuit theory especially in the area of semiconductors and operational amplifiers. * Basic experience with power supply design, including converters, regulators, and inverters. * Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB, or similar). * Familiarity with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.). * Knowledge of PCB design principles and electrical layout considerations. * Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and datasheets. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. * Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of analog hardware design. *Preferred Qualifications:* * Familiarity with EMI/EMC standards and regulations for power systems. * Experience with design and testing of AC to DC and DC to DC circuits. * Understanding of thermal management principles in power electronics. * Knowledge of industry-standard design tools (Altium, Cadence, etc.).
