Treasury Accountant
Job SummaryThe Treasury Analyst contributes to the company’s success by ensuring efficient cash and credit card management and confirming fund availability. The Analyst will support all aspects of treasury operations including bank reconciliations, initiating wires/transfers, positive pay and ACH decisioning, issuing credit cards, fraud monitoring, etc.The goal of this position is to monitor and provide insights on the organization’s financial condition, allowing the correct decisions to be made to accomplish long-term success and scalable growth. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Take a lead role on all bank and credit card administration responsibilities for the organization.Manage timely and accurate processing and recording of bank, credit card, and debt transactions.Monitor company cash levels on a real-time basis.Reconcile, review and analyze balance sheet accounts and resolve any variances.Monitor cash clearing accounts and ensure allocation of expense to appropriate entity/property.Assist in cash flow forecasting to ensure appropriate liquidity across Cove’s entities.Provide oversight to petty cash program – ensure policy adherence and provide recommendations to Management on best practices.Identify opportunities to streamline processes, and improve efficiency through automation, standardization, and best practices.Assist in creating and maintaining current department procedure documentation.Provide support to external auditors in regard to company audited financial statements.Perform other duties and support team members, as required.Required Skills/Abilities:Strong attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities, and demonstrate initiativeProficient MS Excel skills requiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellasAble to appropriately manage confidential informationEducation and Experience:3+ years of treasury experience.Previous bank administration and reconciliation experience.Multi-entity experience.Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred.Real estate/property management industry preferred.Living Our Core ValuesOur Core Values are a way of life, not just empty promises.
