We encourage those who join us to be active participants in building our future.Position SummaryCounsel of Cyber Claims is responsible for the handling, management, and oversight of complex primary and excess Cyber Claims. The position reports to the Head of Cyber Claims.Required QualificationsManage and handle complex Cyber claims including verifying coverage, conducting investigations, evaluating liability and damages, and developing resolution strategiesEnsure all claims are managed in accordance with claims department service standardsSet appropriate and timely reservesAssist underwriters with prospective business opportunitiesWork with attorneys, brokers, and insureds regarding the handling and resolution of complex claimsPrepare reports on potential exposure for company managementDevelop and maintain relationships with business-specific vendors, including incident response vendors, defense and coverage attorneysAdditional Qualifications3 - 5 years of relevant claims experienceJD degree preferredSuperior analytical abilitiesExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage competing priorities Compensation $120k+ (based on experience) plus bonus
