Mechanical Superintendent - Plumbing or HVAC Experience Required

Mechanical SuperintendentPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Superintendent to oversee and manage mechanical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that all mechanical systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards, while adhering to safety regulations and project timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate all mechanical activities on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.Manage and lead a team of mechanical technicians and contractors, providing guidance and support as needed.Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.Coordinate with other trades and disciplines to facilitate smooth workflow and address any issues that may arise during construction.Review project plans and specifications, and provide input on mechanical system design and installation processes.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OHSA regulations and company policies.QualificationsProven experience as a Mechanical Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing.Familiarity with OHSA 30 regulations and safety standards in construction.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Relevant certifications in mechanical systems or construction management are a plus.BenefitsMedical/Dental/Vision401(k) with employer matching as well as yearly bonusLife InsuranceShort- and long-term disabilityTuition ReimbursementVacation/PTO/Sick LeaveWellness Programs
