Java Test Developer

This role requires an Active DOD Secret Clearance Basic qualifications B.S. in Computer Science, Software/Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline 2-5 years of relevant experience . Hands-on experience writing unit and component tests for code they did not originally author. Strong Linux/Unix development, integration, and troubleshooting background Proven Java development experience, including multithreading Ability to integrate, test, troubleshoot, and refactor software systems Desired skills Advanced Java multithreading Database experience (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or comparable) Inter-process messaging middleware (gRPC, Artemis) UI frameworks: JavaFX / Swing Reactive programming (RxJava, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow) Performance-tuning tools (JVisualVM, JConsole, JProfiler) Containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) Agile full-lifecycle development familiarity Bash scripting proficiency 3+years combined experience in Linux, scripting/software development, and configuration management This role requires 4 days per week onsite in Manassas, VA - Monday-Thursday with Friday's off.
