Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionPosition SummaryResponsible for managing and analyzing payroll and compensation data to ensure accurate and timely employee payments. Supports HR operations by maintaining payroll systems, processing compensation adjustments, conducting audits, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies. Collaborates with HR and finance teams to optimize payroll processes and resolve discrepancies.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompensation Administration & ManagementAdminister market pricing and benchmarking activities using tools such as Payscale to support consistent pay practicesOwn and manage participation in external compensation surveys, including Mercer surveys, ensuring accurate data submission, validation, and reportingMaintain and manage pay ranges, salary structures, and job architecture within established guidelinesSupport day-to-day compensation administration, including pay changes, job evaluations, and related transactionsReview and validate compensation data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with internal policiesAssist in the administration of incentive and variable pay programs, including data validation and payout processing supportEnsure compensation processes are executed accurately, consistently, and in compliance with organizational standardsPartner with HR, Payroll, and Finance to support the effective management of compensation-related activitiesPayroll SupportSupport payroll processing through data validation, audits, and data integrity checksReview earnings, deductions, and employee data to ensure accuracy and consistency across systemsMaintain data integrity within HRIS and payroll systems by identifying and resolving discrepanciesPartner with Payroll Manager to ensure smooth, accurate, and compliant payroll operationsData & SystemsPartner with HRIS partner to ensure accurate configuration of pay-related data in DayforceSupport reporting and analysis across payroll and compensationAssist with data uploads, audits, and process improvementsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Payroll, HR, and leadership to support pay programsSupport compensation-related communications and documentationAssist in building scalable compensation and payroll processes and governanceRequirementsQualifications3-6+ years of experience in payroll, compensation, or HR operationsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExperience with compensation analysis and/or payroll processesExperience with assisting with building out compensation programsProficiency in Excel and HR systems (e.g., Dayforce, Workday, ADP, etc.)Experience with compensation tools like Payscale preferredExperience with market data through Mercer preferredSkills and CompetenciesHighly analytical and detail-orientedStrong problem-solving skillsAble to manage sensitive data with confidentialityComfortable working with cross-functional teamsStrong understanding of the financial impact of compensation programs and payroll, including cost management, budgeting, and alignment to business performance metricsAbility to build and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
