Performs Engineering work related to the facilitization of metal forming facilities. This role will assist the program managers and onsite production engineering team. This includes creation of Scopes of Work, reviewing contractor proposals, design reviews, and managing the performance of the various facilitization programs. Additionally, reviewing change orders and control the configuration of the drawings and design. Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. Reviews reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems. Provides technical support for the engineering process. Designs, implements, and communicates, an operational plan for completing the project. Monitors progress and performance against the project plan. Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary to complete the project. Prepares engineering designs and work specifications. Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts. Selects materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.Additional Responsibilities Track and Manage Risk Database Cost Account Manager Sourcing of Technology Required QualificationsRequired education and experience: Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experienceDiscipline/Major: Engineering degree requiredCritical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Preferred QualificationsPreferred education and experience: Bachelor's DegreeKnowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Analytical thinking. Design review. Project engineering. Resource planning. Technical project management. Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) software. Project management software.Preferred Experience in: Defense Industry, Heavy Metal Forming, and upgrading or standing up industrial facilities.International and Domestic travel between site locaitons is expected.
