Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician plays a key role in keeping plant equipment and systems running efficiently to support production and facility operations. This role involves performing a mix of preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and building systems. Daily tasks include diagnosing issues, replacing parts, inspecting machinery, and executing repairs using hand and power tools. Work is guided by structured maintenance schedules, equipment manuals, and production needs. The technician also contributes to emergency repairs, facility upkeep, and continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime and maintain operational standards.What You Bring to the TableTechnical Skill and Equipment MaintenancePerforms mechanical and electrical repairs using hand and power toolsInstalls and reassembling machine parts based on production needsOperates welding and cutting equipment to modify or join componentsCleans, lubricates, and maintains machinery to prevent breakdownsPreventive Maintenance and TroubleshootingExecutes scheduled maintenance to reduce downtimeDiagnoses equipment issues and completes necessary repairsInterprets manuals and work orders to guide service tasksIdentifies required parts and supplies from catalogs and vendorsFacility Upkeep and SafetyHandles basic plumbing and carpentry tasks as neededOperates forklifts and material handling equipment safelyMaintains clean work areas and follows safety protocolsReports faulty operations or materials to appropriate personnelCommunication and Task ExecutionWorks independently or with a team to complete assignmentsCommunicates clearly with supervisors and peersAdapts to changing priorities and production demandsResponds to feedback and maintains professional conductCore Requirements:At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentProficient in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial systemsExperience installing, servicing, and testing equipment and wiringBasic knowledge of PLCs and HVAC systemsStrong math skills including fractions and unit conversionsCapable of lifting up to 100 pounds and performing physical tasks throughout the shiftEffective verbal and written communicationDemonstrates initiative and sound problem-solving skillsWorks well within a team and responds professionally to feedbackPreferred Qualifications:Experience with structured preventive maintenance programsComfortable working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environmentBilingual in English and SpanishExperience identifying and sourcing parts and supplies from vendorsWhy you will choose us:Albertsons Companies Inc. has always been a people-oriented business, and thoughtful people practices remain a core element of our company's philosophy.
