Emergency Medicine Physician

Overview:We are actively seeking a highly qualified Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in the picturesque North Country region of NYS. This position offers a unique opportunity to assume a leadership role within our low-volume rural community hospital. With an annual volume of 18,000 patients, this position provides an ideal balance between professional fulfillment and a relaxed pace of life. Responsibilities: Provide exceptional emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring quality patient care and efficient workflow. Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to ensure comprehensive coverage from 7 am to 7 pm. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. Serve as a mentor and leader to medical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Qualifications: Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
