This leadership role involves managing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting efficient clinical operations across the unit.Key Responsibilities: Oversee patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) Supervise and coordinate nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, CMAs, PCTs, and unit clerks Ensure adherence to nursing standards, policies, and best practices Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and care coordination Act as a clinical resource and support staff in complex situations Assist in staffing processes, including reviewing resumes and onboarding travelers Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulations Promote patient-centered care across all age groups (newborn to elderly) Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) Active Alaska RN License (in good standing) Minimum 5 years of nursing experience At least 4 years of charge/lead experience in clinic, urgent care, or LTC setting Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #295741.
