This position is located in Cleveland, OH.Overview:An Architectural team member works independently, developing design or technical solutions under supervision of a Project Manager, Architect, Designer, Engineer and other staff in continued growth and education by performing the following duties.Core Competencies:Team Player. Clear and concise, written and verbal language skills.Responsibilities (subject to change, modification as needed) are as follows, but not limited to: Provides assistance to project team as instructed by and under the direct supervision of the Project Manager or Architect, or Engineer.Uses design technology software to prepare project documents.Draws finished designs from sketches.Reviews completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations.Performs analysis of design, planning, and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts.Prepares project specifications, compiling, and analyzing relevant data.Writes reports and specifications.Continues to work towards completing the requirements of the Architectural Experience Program (AXP) for discipline.Travels for client meetings, consultant coordination, site surveys, construction administration, etc. (5-10% of time reserved for travel)K2M's Benefits and PerksCompetitive Pay: Profit based bonus plan, matched 401k planTime off: 10 paid annual holidays, plus Open PTO to balance work and lifeHealth Insurance: Medical, dental and vision benefits, plus life and short term disabilityEmpowered People: a fundamental principle built into our business, flexible schedule, casual work environment, contagious accountability.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited college or university.2+ years’ experience in the field of Architecture.Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit, scheduling software, specification software, and standard business software (MSOffice, Adobe suite, Google docs).Continuing education relevant for position.Membership/activity in a non-profit or community interest group.
