Fulfill’s strategic plan prioritizes supporting and building the capacity of this network to serve with dignity and excellence. One of the key tactics to achieve this goal is through the new, statewide Growing Healthy Pantries (GHP) Initiative. As the GHP Program Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of Fulfill’s administration and implementation of this initiative, including serving as Fulfill’s representative in the NJ food bank steering committee, training staff on the GHP Toolkit, developing and implementing the Capacity Building Grant Program, and tracking and evaluating all toolkit activities throughout Fulfill’s pantry network in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. The position requires a collaborative, emotionally intelligent leader who bases decisions in data and stakeholder feedback.In this role, you will develop and implement staff GHP Toolkit training and communication plans for pantry partners and coordinate distribution of GHP Toolkit across the Fulfill pantry network. In addition, you will assist with the creation of and oversee the implementation of a request for proposal (RFP) process for a Capacity Building Grant Program, maintain and enforce the organization’s policies and procedures, develop, lead, and conduct evaluations of Community of Practice, participate in the execution of the online version of GHP toolkit, and maintain knowledge and consistently model the policies and procedures of Feeding America’s national office; US & NJ Departments of Agriculture; and state and local government regulations pertaining to food handling, distribution, storage, sanitation, and disposal. You will also prepare annual workplans and budget; monitor grant spending, track program implementation within Fulfill’s service area, analyze and report on partner engagement activities and performance, ensure accuracy and timely submission of program reports to the steering committee and funders, research or participate in the development of new programs to meet the changing food security needs of the community as such opportunities arise, administer agency and neighbor feedback surveys and focus groups, as needed.The Program Manager GHP will lead pantry partners through Community of Practice, including regional meetings, collaborate with Fulfill’s Network Engagement Team and Programs, and Operations staff, under the direction of the Community Health Manager, to develop strategies to support and improve network partner capacity building, build and maintain subject matter expertise in best practices for healthy pantry operations and equitable service models, and represent Fulfill through participation in virtual and onsite meetings and events.Qualified candidates will have at least 1-3 years of Project/Program Management experience, preferably in a role associated with Food Insecurity (Food Bank or Pantry), along with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook); and a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required for work at other locations.
