This role combines clinical practice with physician leadership, offering the opportunity to shape high-quality pediatric care while maintaining a balanced schedule.Medical Director Role OverviewThe Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director will provide clinical coverage while partnering with hospital leadership to ensure excellence in pediatric inpatient care. This role includes oversight of care delivery, support of best practices, and collaboration with nursing, OB, and ancillary teams.Clinical ResponsibilitiesMorning roundingOut-of-house call with a 30-minute response timeAttendance at deliveries as requestedPerformance of newborn circumcisionsArrangement of patient stabilization and coordination of transport when needed Leadership & Program Oversight: Serve as the clinical leader for pediatric hospitalist servicesSeparate Medical Director StipendPromote evidence-based care and quality improvement initiativesCollaborate with hospital administration, OB services, nursing, and care teamsSupport a culture of safety, professionalism, and family-centered care Why Mercy Health Tiffin Hospital?
