Semi Trailer Mechanic

FSR Fleet Services performs onsite trailer maintenance and repairs. We offer our technicians easy to use software, and a team of professionals to provide exceptional customer service. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform inspections on 53ft trailers and misc. repairs such as brakes, lights, brake chambers, trailer doors, holes in the trailer, airlines, and glad hands. Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures, such as preventive maintenance and DOT inspections. Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device. Source parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck. Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation on time. Use software to submit work orders and create invoices. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of trailer repair experience preferred. Ability to work weekends and holidays when needed A valid driver’s License is required. Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders which includes adding labor hours and updating work order statuses. 2-year experience in performing brake inspections and annual federal inspections.
