The objective would be to achieve patient goals and maintain high quality patient care demonstrating accountability and responsibility. Responsible for the overall operation and optimal quality of care for our residentsRESPONSIBILITIES:Provides direct care responsibilities as well as supervisor responsibility for nursing assistants.Administer medications and treatments timely and according to policyReceive, transcribe, and carry out physician ordersFollows established procedure for chartingPatient assessments, coordination of careIdentifies and reports changes in conditionFamiliarity with environmental health, safety and sanitation standards and proceduresKnowledge of Patient Experience and best practices, and how to best integrate with clinical care.Knowledge of clinical and nonclinical acute hospital operations and continuum of care (connected care) pre/post-acute servicesAssist in the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) processLICENSE/ CERTIFICATIONValid Practical Nurse License in the State of Practice is requiredCPR/BLS certifiedEXPERIENCE:Minimum 1 year nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home or other healthcare setting.Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care centers.LTC Experience PreferredSCHEDULE:Must be able to assist under the Director of Nursing in emergencies and/ or facility coverage to meet the needs of the residents.
