Senior Engineering Consultant – OSP / Fiber Network DeploymentLocation: Dallas, Texas (Remote / Travel as needed) This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, including H-1B.Experience Level: Senior / SMEAbout the Role We are seeking a Senior Engineering Consultant to lead large-scale outside plant (OSP) fiber network design and execution across Tier 1 and Tier 2 ISP programs. This role serves as a senior customer-facing point of contact and subject matter expert (SME) on broadband deployment strategy, engineering standards, and network architecture.You will be responsible for driving engineering quality, ensuring constructible designs, and aligning execution across multi-state FTTH deployments while working closely with clients, engineering teams, and PMO leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end OSP fiber network design across large-scale FTTH deployments (HLD → LLD)Serve as senior customer-facing consultant and trusted advisor to ISP clientsDevelop and enforce engineering standards to ensure construction-ready deliverablesCoordinate with PMO to align engineering output with delivery timelines and client expectationsOversee design accuracy, scalability, and consistency across high-volume programsManage pole attachment workflows, permitting strategy, and utility coordinationSupport environmental and regulatory scopes including NEPA, Section 106, ESA, and related complianceDrive solutions to prevent redesigns, change orders, and construction delaysReview and validate engineering deliverables for quality, constructability, and completenessAct as escalation point for complex technical and client-facing challengesRequired Qualifications8+ years of experience in OSP fiber design and telecommunications engineeringProven experience leading large-scale FTTH deployments across multiple marketsStrong understanding of pole attachments, permitting, and utility coordinationDeep knowledge of HLD/LLD design workflows and construction requirementsProficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS/QGIS, IQGeo, VETRO, or similar platformsExperience working with cross-functional teams including PMO, fielding, and constructionStrong communication skills with the ability to interface directly with clients and stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting multi-state deployments or Tier 1 ISP programsFamiliarity with environmental compliance processes (NEPA, USACE, etc.)Background in database/GIS integration
