Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and supply chain industry, is seeking a Sr. Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a Sr. Procurement Specialist, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives.Job Title: Sr. Procurement SpecialistLocation: Alameda, CAPay Range:$35What's the Job?Execute purchasing and supply management strategies created by Category Managers.Support purchase order (PO) conversion and manage approvals up to $1,000,000.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive value, savings, and supplier integration.Lead complex RFPs and small projects, providing expert advice and direction.Develop and implement procurement strategies, fostering relationships with diverse suppliers.What's Needed?Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Financial, or equivalent experience.4-6 years of procurement experience with a focus on category management or project management.Proficiency in spreadsheet programs and strong communication skills (written and verbal).Experience with procurement tools, financial benchmarking, and spend management is preferred.CPM certification is desirable but not mandatory.If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
