For more details, please connect with Praveen H at praveenh@vgroupinc.com or call at 609-766-2733.Prior state government experience within the last five yearsDirect Client: State Of OregonJob Title: Java DeveloperSkill Level: SeniorDuration: 12 MonthsLocation: Salem, Oregon, USA (Remote)Hours Per Week: 40 HoursPosition ID: 20027-26Ceipal ID: SOR_JAVA726_PHResponsibilities:Develop and deliver software updates, code modifications, and technical documentation for the eXPRS application.Analyze, troubleshoot, and remediate application defects and production issues.Complete operational requests, enhancement requests, maintenance tasks, UI improvements, and refactoring initiatives from the Azure DevOps backlog.Participate in daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Work directly with business subject matter experts, product owners, architects, technical managers, and technical leads.Document solution options, technical designs, system dependencies, impacted areas, and functional gaps.Develop technical specifications for database changes, batch processes, interfaces, application modules, and use cases.Support system testing and validation activities.Demonstrate working solutions and prototypes on a regular sprint cadence.Provide sprint status reporting and transparency of work completed.Perform knowledge transfer activities and documentation updates to ensure ongoing support by internal staff.Follow established development standards, naming conventions, Agile methodologies, and Azure DevOps processes.Required Qualifications:10+ years of experience with Java development.10+ years of experience with J2EE application development.10+ years of experience with IBM DB2 UDB.10+ years of experience using Eclipse IDE.Prior State Government experience within the last five (5) years.1-3 years of eXPRS Application Development experience.Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.Experience supporting enterprise application maintenance and enhancement initiatives.Preferred Skills:Azure DevOps (ADOS) experience.Medicaid, Human Services, or Health and Human Services domain experience.Developmental Disabilities Services application experience.Application performance tuning and optimization.Technical design and solution documentation.Reporting and data management experience.Knowledge transfer and mentoring experience.V Group Inc. is a NJ-based IT Services and Products Company with its business strategically categorized into various Business Units including Public Sector, Enterprise Solutions, Professional Services, Ecommerce, Projects, and Products.
