AWS/CES is looking for an Electrician for our automotive manufacturing client in Warren, MILocation: Warren, MISchedule/pay: 1st shift 6am-2:30pm @ $32.26/hr3rd shift 9pm-6:30am @ $33.26/hrJob Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to support manufacturing operations through maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of plant equipment and machinery. This role requires a strong technical background, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and electrical systems with minimal supervisionPerform electrical wiring, installations, and upgrades based on schematics and documentationSupport preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptimeDiagnose issues using electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and diagnostic toolsAssist with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic system troubleshootingInstall and run conduit, wire-ways, panels, and power dropsBuild, label, and wire control panels and electrical boxesUpdate drawings/prints and recommend spare parts or system improvementsRespond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to support production needsEnsure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulationsQualificationsStrong experience with industrial electrical systems and machine troubleshootingKnowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and high-voltage systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder diagramsExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and PLC troubleshooting (preferred)Proficient with electrical meters and diagnostic instruments (AC/DC circuits)Ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency and accountabilityStrong communication and teamwork skillsEducation & RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredJourneyman Electrician license or equivalent hands-on experience preferredAbility to pass an electrician aptitude testSend your resume to carmen@canadianexecutivesearch.comCESGLOW1
