Eastern Controls Inc., a manufacturer's representative partner of Endress+Hauser Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation Technician. You'll work handson in a wide variety of industrial environments, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring equipment operates as intended. This critical role is responsible for assembly and disassembly, assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and repairs of the various product lines based on the manufacturer's specifications. What tasks will you perform? Perform handson calibration, testing, and adjustment of industrial instrumentation. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform mechanical or electrical repairs as needed. Support inside and outside sales teams with sizing, application questions, and problem resolution. Build trust with customers through reliability, professionalism, and technical expertise. Serve as a knowledgeable representative of Eastern Controls while onsite. What do we expect from you? You will have (required): High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to obtain certifications in all required ECI and Principal programs. Ability to obtain and maintain TWIC and PSM credentials. Forklift, Scissors, lift, and confined spaces certification may also be required. Valid Driver's License and safe driving record. Ability to travel (approximately 15% overnight) You may have (preferred): Associate's Degree in a technical field 1-5 years experience in a hands-on technical application Excellent communication skills Prior control valve experience Ability to demonstrate basic electrical and mechanical knowledge Use of hand tools and electronic testing equipment Strong attention to safety and detail Applicants with any knowledge of electrical and hydraulic actuators and familiarity with pneumatics is a strong plus.
