Think of us as the travel buddy who handles the logistics while you focus on what you do best helping people heal.Roles & ResponsibilitiesAssess, plan, implement and evaluate perioperative care for pre-op, intra-op and PACU patientsServe as the OR circulating nurse to maintain patient safety and smooth surgical flowProvide on-call PACU coverage, managing post-anesthesia recovery for pediatric and adult patientsCollaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the surgical team to coordinate care and handoffsMaintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with surgical policies and protocolsAnticipate needs during procedures and ensure availability of necessary supplies and equipmentPromote a positive patient experience through compassionate, family-centered careQualificationsActive RN license in Montana or a Compact StateMinimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience requiredCurrent ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications requiredExperience in perioperative nursing, OR circulating and PACU careComfortable providing pediatric (PEDS) perioperative and PACU careAbility to work scheduled day shifts and participate in rotating on-call coverageKnowledge & SkillsStrong perioperative nursing knowledge including sterile technique and surgical safetyProficiency in pre-op assessment and post-anesthesia recovery careFamiliarity with pediatric perioperative and PACU needsExcellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teamsAbility to prioritize, think critically and respond calmly in high-acuity situationsCompetence with clinical documentation and basic EMR navigationBenefitsGenerous housing stipend and travel support to make your contract comfortableMedical, dental & vision coverage options so you and your family stay healthyLicensure assistance & reimbursement to keep your credentials currentPaid time off to recharge between shiftsTravel reimbursement and support for contract logisticsA supportive Surgical Services team that values teamwork and great patient careOpportunities for professional development and clinical skills refreshersReferral bonus program and recognition for outstanding workTravel Perks: Explore Sidney, MTThis contract takes you to Sidney, a welcoming community in eastern Montana.
