Role Description We are seeking a full-time, on-site Network Engineer / Systems Administrator to join our team in Springfield, OR. This position involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing network and system infrastructure for our clients. Day-to-day tasks will include monitoring network performance, implementing security measures, configuring hardware and software, supporting Microsoft 365 environments, and addressing client technical issues. As a critical part of our team, the role also includes collaboration on client-specific solutions and contributing to the successful implementation of IT projects. Qualifications Experience with Network Administration, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN, wireless networks, firewalls, and network security.Proficiency in Systems Administration, including managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.Knowledge of Cybersecurity best practices, such as implementation of firewalls, antivirus software, threat monitoring, and compliance-driven security protocols.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, including email management, collaboration tools, and cloud service configurations.Keen analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.Ability to manage backups, disaster recovery systems, and other critical IT protocols.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams to meet technical needs.Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.Previous experience in an MSP or customer-facing IT environment is advantageous.An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
