This position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of group sales events from initial booking through day-of delivery, ensuring every guest interaction reflects the energy, professionalism, and fun that defines Alabama Adventure.Working closely with the Group Sales Manager, this role serves as a bridge between guests, internal teams, and event logistics to ensure seamless, memorable experiences for every group that enters the park.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with people, and want to be part of turning moments into adventure, this is the role for you.Key Responsibilities:Event Coordination and ExecutionAssist in planning and executing group events including corporate outings, school groups, youth programs, and celebrationsLead or support day-of event execution, ensuring all elements are delivered accurately and on timeServe as the primary on-site contact for group leaders during events when neededCoordinate event spaces, catering, and group logistics to ensure a smooth guest experienceSupport sponsorship or promotional activations within the park as assignedGuest Experience and Group SupportGreet and welcome group guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impressionDirect groups to designated locations such as admissions, pavilions, or event spacesProvide clear communication and assistance to group leaders throughout their visitRespond to group inquiries via phone, email, or in person in a timely and professional mannerAdministrative and Sales SupportAssist with preparing group orders, contracts, and event documentationProcess invoices and payments accurately and efficientlyMaintain organized and up-to-date records of all group bookings and communicationsSupport data entry and reporting related to group sales and event trackingTeam Collaboration and CommunicationAct as a communication hub between Group Sales, Operations, Admissions, Food and Beverage, and other departmentsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure all event needs are met and executed to standardSupport general office and administrative functions as neededAssist with cross-department coordination to enhance overall park operations during eventsOn-Site Operations SupportProvide hands-on assistance during events across the park as neededHelp manage event flow, troubleshoot issues, and ensure guest satisfactionMaintain awareness of park operations to support seamless integration of events into daily operationsPolicies and StandardsFollow all policies and procedures outlined in the Team Member HandbookMaintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all timesUphold Alabama Adventure's commitment to safety, service, and guest experienceQualifications:Must be at least 16 years of ageStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAvailability to work weekends, holidays, and peak operating daysPosition Details:• Part-time (flexible hours, including some weekdays and weekends as needed)• Office space located within the Group Sales Department• Training provided for invoicing and payment systemsWhat We're Looking For:• Strong communication and customer service skills• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment• Comfortable with basic computer programs, printing, and filing• Positive attitude and a team player mindsetWhy Join Our Team?This is a great opportunity to be part of a fun and dynamic environment while gaining valuable experience in sales support, event coordination, and guest services.
