Job Description: - Perform a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care. - Support fellow imaging technologists to facilitate smooth patient flow. - Demonstrate flexibility by taking on additional shifts and working at different campuses as required. - Troubleshoot basic maintenance issues, participate in quality assurance, and resolve image processing challenges. - Engage in ongoing education and stay updated on safety and technical advancements. - Maintain expected imaging competencies as outlined by management. Key Responsibilities: - Uphold the Core Values of our organization in every interaction. - Maintain professionalism with appropriate behavior, dress, and attendance. - Collaborate with management, coworkers, and physicians to promote staff growth and a positive work environment. - Assist radiologists and referring physicians to enhance physician satisfaction. - Protect patient confidentiality and handle information responsibly. - Adapt care methods to meet the unique needs of each patient served. - Comply with policies and standards set by regulatory agencies and the hospital. - Ensure accurate scanning and storage of exam results in PACS. - Serve as a PACS Superuser and follow downtime procedures. - Report equipment malfunctions promptly to the appropriate personnel. - Perform additional duties as assigned. Job Requirements: - Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent. - 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred. - Basic computer skills are required. - Must possess one of the following certifications: - Radiography (R) by ARRT - Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB - Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or NMTCB - State Licensure required - MRT by TMB (Texas). - BLS certification required (AHA only). Work Schedule: - Night shift: 7PM - 7AM - Blocked scheduling: 3 days one week, 4 days the next.
