Geomatics Project Manager

Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Geomatics Project Manager to join our team in Midland, TX. This role focuses on overseeing geomatics projects across Texas and New Mexico, ensuring technical accuracy, timely deliverables, and effective coordination with clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in geomatics engineering or a related field, with strong project management and organizational skills, as well as an understanding of surveying practices in the oil and gas industry.Key Responsibilities• Manage and coordinate geomatics projects from initiation through completion• Oversee scheduling, budgets, and deliverables to ensure client expectations are met• Collaborate with Geomatics/CAD/GIS technicians, and field crews on data collection, analysis, and deliverables• Provide technical review and quality assurance of field data, AutoCAD drawings, and GIS products• Communicate project updates effectively with clients and internal stakeholders• Apply knowledge of drones, 3D laser scanning, and field data collection technologies to improve efficiency and accuracyQualifications (Candidate may have all or some of the following):• Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering or equivalent field• Surveying experience/understanding of surveying practices in Texas and New Mexico• RPLS (Registered Professional Land Surveyor) license preferred but not required)• Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting• GIS experience in the ESRI environment/proficient in ArcGIS Pro• Familiarity with drone surveying, 3D laser scanning, and other field data collection tools• Oil and gas industry knowledge/experience• Strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills• Effective communication and teamwork abilitiesWhy Join Elite Optimization?At Elite Optimization, you’ll be part of a driven and innovative team with access to cutting-edge technology and a supportive work culture.
