Telecom Engineer Senior

Job Title: Telecom Engineer Senior Location: Onsite, Eldorado Bld., Broomfield, CO (provide 1 week oncall rotation which repeats every 5 weeks) Type: Contract Duration: 6 months Rate: Up to $90/hr Job Description: As a Senior Telecom Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining all in-house voice systems. This includes designing, installing, configuring, upgrading, diagnosing, repairing and optimizing telecommunications systems, call centers, contact centers and voice networks. This person also analyzes and resolves telecommunications circuit and system issues in a timely and accurate fashion and assists all user needs. Senior level professional experience in all aspects of telecommunications and technology. Functions independently with minimal oversight and direction. May instruct and guide lower-level technical professionals. Required Skills & Experience: -Experience in designing, implementing, and managing telecom systems, including Avaya, Cisco Call Manager, Genesys, and other third-party voice and collaboration systems. -Knowledge of telecom network architecture, protocols, and technologies Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving network issues in a timely manner. -Expertise in implementing and optimizing telecom systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. -Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and deliver telecom projects on time and within budget. -Experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers in a telecom environment -Demonstrated experience and success in leading and managing technology projects and teams, highlighting practical leadership skills in lieu of formal education qualifications. Preferred Skills & Experience: -Five plus (5) + years of experience in healthcare applications and systems." Required Certifications & Licensure: -Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Genesys certifications, or other related certifications in telecom and networking. -Contact Center design, Cloud systems and knowledge Required Skills: AVAYA CISCO CALL MANAGER DESIGNING TELECOM SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTING TELECOM SYSTEMS MANAGING TELECOM SYSTEMS Plus: Healthcare Languages: English Certifications & Licenses: Contact Center design, Cloud systems and knowledge Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Genesys certifications, or other related certifications in telecom and networking.
