Additional on-site attendance may be required to support operational or safety needs.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead complex setups and operations for CNC and manual machining equipmentTroubleshoot machining issues, identify root causes, and optimize processes for quality and efficiencyCollaborate with engineering teams on manufacturability, prototyping, and process developmentTrain and mentor technicians and engineers on machining best practicesRecommend and implement improvements to tooling, fixtures, and machining processesEnsure safe machine shop operations and proper upkeep of equipmentPerform other duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other CharacteristicsKnowledge of CNC and manual machining processes, including complex machine setups, tooling, and fixturingSkill in troubleshooting machining issues, performing root cause analysis, and optimizing machining processes for quality and efficiencyAbility to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on manufacturability reviews and prototype developmentAbility to train and mentor technicians and engineers on machining techniques, safety, and best practicesSkill in evaluating and recommending improvements to tooling, fixtures, and machining processesKnowledge of machine shop safety standards and ability to maintain safe operations and equipment conditionEducation and Experience8+ years of relevant professional experience with an Associate's degree, or10+ years of relevant professional experience with a high school diplomaExpert knowledge of machining principles, materials, and cutting strategiesStrong mentor/leadership capabilityCapable of producing tight-tolerance components for R&D applicationsPay TransparencyThe salary range for this position is $31.25 - $39.00 USD Hourly. This hourly range is GTI Energy's good faith estimate, and the actual hourly rate may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, GTI Energy's business or organizational needs and an individual's relevant experience, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, and/or performance. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus. The range listed is just one component of GTI Energy's total compensation package for employees.
