Compliance Associate (New York, NY): A leading private equity firm with more than $10B in assets under management is seeking a Compliance Associate to join its team in New York City. Broad exposure across the private markets compliance landscape, including records management, testing, contract review, and regulatory initiatives. High visibility and growth potential; the successful candidate will be eager to develop into a well-rounded compliance professional. Based in the firms New York City office. Collaborative, humble, and intellectually curious team culture. Responsibilities:Support compliance program administration, including Code of Ethics monitoring and quarterly certifications. Assist with regulatory filings and maintain compliance records. Participate in testing, mock exams, and other internal reviews to assess controls and readiness. Research new regulatory developments and implement resulting compliance requirements. Review and organize contracts and related legal documentation. Partner across investment, legal, and operations teams to uphold firm standards and execute firm compliance program. Contribute to continuous process improvements and best-practice enhancements as the firm scales. Qualifications:Bachelors degree required; legal, compliance, or paralegal background preferred. 4-7 years of compliance or legal experience in private equity, private markets, or broader financial services. Prior exposure to compliance frameworks, policies, or regulatory filings. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, written and interpersonal skills.
