Manager, Store Design

Manager of Store Design will report to the Director of Store Design. This role will manage all aspects of the process of store openings, store maintenance and design development of Cole Haan retail environments. This role will cover projects globally. Projects will include Full Price stores, OutletStores and Shop in Shop locations.This manager will collaborate with internal and external design teams to complete individual projects by leveraging design processes and best practices to ensure the creative intent, design deliverables, timelines and budgets are met. This role will be responsible for the review of fixture details, drawing standards and architectural drawing packages.Core Accountabilities:Manage the process and tracking of Global store opening projects. Manage expectations to execute new store openings and ensuring the processes are cost effective and project timelines are met.* Develop test fit fixture layout drawings* Review fixture engineering drawings from global manufacturers* Review construction documents* Create 3D Renderings* Review/Manage material library* Track active project timelines* Collaborate with peers and internal partners (Retail Brand, Visual Merchandising, Construction and Store Operations) and external partners to ensure feasibility of designs and functional needs are met.* Support and partner with Global Retail team members, Creative Director and Store Design Director to execute project vision.* Develop presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts to all levels of leadership and global partners.* Understand design processes to ensure results, timelines and budgets are met.* Assist in the development and management of store budgets, specifically related to architectural services, store fixtures and props.* Develop and implement a facilities maintenance program for current and future stores including preventative maintenance, HVAC and interior and exterior standards including on-going refurbishment and replacement needs.* Support marketing production related projects that require external vendor coordination to ensure cost effective and timely execution.* Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design* 5+ years of Experience* Demonstrated expertise using computer design applications including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, V-Ray and Adobe Creative Suite.* Experience working for retail and/or residential architectural designer* Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively communicate across all levelsBase Salary Range: $90,000 - 115,000 annuallyBonus Eligibility: Yes, eligible for annual target bonus based on company and individual performanceBenefits Offered: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Care, Health Savings Accounts, 401(k) Retirement Plan, Vacation Time, Sick Time, Paid Parental Leave, Holidays and Cole Haan Discounts Rate of pay dependent upon candidates' relevant skills, experience, and locationThis position is not available to be performed in Colorado.As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Cole Haan is committed to meeting the spirit as well as the letter of the law.
