Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) – New Paltz, NY $25K Sign-on Bonus available at hire. Position Overview Optum seeks an exceptional Primary Care Physician to join our team located in New Paltz, NY. The role focuses on value‑based care within a patient‑centered, physician‑led team environment. You will provide full‑spectrum Family Medicine and Adult Primary Care, manage chronic diseases, and collaborate closely with Advanced Practice Clinicians. Key Responsibilities Direct and manage a complete continuum of high‑quality care within the care team. Treat chronic diseases and disorders. Review patient file/record, including allergies, problems, medications, and immunization status. Elicit and record information about patient’s medical history. Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition. Analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations and diagnose patient’s condition. Required Qualifications Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or New York application in process. Residency trained and Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine. Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start. Compensation and Benefits Guaranteed, competitive compensation model based on quality, not quantity, with significant earning potential and bonus eligibility. $238,500 – $392,500 base salary range (total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus).
