Financial AnalystBacked by a middle-market private equity firm, our client is executing an ambitious growth strategy, including acquisitions across the Southeast. The company is positioned as a scalable platform for expansion, combining operational excellence with disciplined financial management.Position OverviewSeeking a high-performing Financial Analyst to support its next phase of growth. This individual will play a key role in financial planning and analysis, operational reporting, and M&A integration support. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, private equity-backed environment. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Develop and help maintain financial models, forecasts, and annual budgets. Help build out the budgetAnalyze monthly financial performance and provide variance analysis vs. budget and prior periods Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management Build KPI dashboards to track operational and financial performance. Reporting & InsightsSupport the business units by pulling data and preparing reports in operational areas.Prepare monthly reporting packages for executive leadership and private equity stakeholders Deliver reports that lead to insights to drive decision-making across operations, sales, and service lines Develop reports to include route density, job costing, capacity planning, backlog.Operational FinanceWork closely with field operations to improve cost visibility and margin performance Analyze pricing, labor efficiency, and job profitability across the three business units, New Construction, Add on / Replacement or Services. This is across all the trades – hvac, plumbing, electrical, mechanical.Support process improvements and system enhancements QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or private equity-backed company Strong financial modeling and Excel skills (advanced proficiency required) Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools -company uses Service TitanExcellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership Preferred QualificationsBackground in industrials, services, or construction-related sectors Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth environment Key AttributesHighly analytical with strong attention to detail Proactive, self-starter mentality Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills Collaborative team player with a hands-on approach Salary: 80-95k, medical and dental benefits 401kWhy Join?Opportunity to work directly with the CFO and get true mentorship High-impact role with visibility into bottom up growth leversPathway to Sr Financial Analyst, Dir of FP&ACompetitive compensation, bonus, and benefits package
