We are rapidly expanding and are looking for talented members to join our team.What you will be doing: As a software development engineer, you will provide technical leadership and vision to develop an engineering management database and user apps that span across engineering designs, material control, construction and more. You will ensure that the best engineering practices are followed and that our software is designed to be responsive, reliable and maintainable. You will be a key influencer in our product vision, working closely with our engineering teams to create tailored software for our projects around the globe. The office is located in Phoenix, AZ 85085.Roles and ResponsibilitiesArchitect, design, develop, and deploy engineering management database and features for our engineering teams.Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews.Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop innovative, consumer facing device experiences using a variety of technologies.Work with engineering team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software with high velocity.Help define standards, implement them, and promote best practices for your team.Work with stakeholders to identify long term opportunities, come up with technical strategies and create implementation plans for the team.Write technical documentation and facilitate training for our engineering teams.QualificationsRequires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and a minimum of 3 year prior relevant experienceExperience interfacing and collaborating with users, developers, and teammatesExperience in full stack design, development, implementation, and methodologies3+ years of non-internship professional software development experiencePreferred qualifications5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience defining system architecture and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced writing and spoken English proficiencyExperience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
