Python Developer

Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst/Python Developer for a hybrid contract in Austin, Texas.Responsibilities:Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and determine specific input and output requirements, including forms of data input, methods of summarizing data, and report formats.Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine whether requested program changes are feasible within existing systems.The role requires hands-on Python development to automate data exchange and data processing in Snowflake.This position follows a hybrid schedule with remote work on Mondays and Wednesdays and onsite work on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Local candidates only will be considered.Minimum Qualifications:8 years of experience with Python4 years of experience developing automated solutions involving exchanging data with external partners2 years of experience with Snowflake database development2 years of experience building solutions including Snowpipe2 years of experience building User Defined Functions (UDFs) in Snowflake1 year of experience building solutions in Snowflake that include a custom user interfacePreferred Qualifications:Previous experience automating enterprise data exchange processesKnowledge of cloud-based data warehouse solutionsExperience with data integration and ETL workflowsExperience working in government or healthcare environmentsWhat We Offer:Sistema offers competitive pay and solid benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
