T2ue provides you with outstanding benefits and an opportunity for a great career with room for advancement.Since 1993, T2 Utility Engineers has provided professional surveying and mapping for acquisition and mapping of 3-dimensional spatial data in support of plans and preparation for construction of roadways, subsurface infrastructure, commercial and private land developments. Using advanced technologies including GPS, laser and LiDAR scanning, MCGPR, UAS (drones), our team of field technicians, surveyors, and engineers capture quality data and provide professional insight to help our clients visualize, plan and design their projects. Our mission is to provide project stakeholders with quality information, professional insight and deliverables that streamline construction, improve project safety and set the standard for the engineering industry.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Mastery of survey equipment use and calibration including total stations, data collection devices, GPS equipment and digital/automatic levels, terrestrial LiDARComprehend and interpret site, boundary, highway and utility plans, maps and surveys, profile and cross-sections, horizontal and vertical curves and contours, atlases and record drawingsPerform survey calculations, including level note reductions, angle and coordinate geometrySupervise daily survey crew activitiesRepresent and communicate on behalf of T2ue with client, subcontractors, and third parties during field activitiesFacilitate Daily Tailgate Safety MeetingsPerform Daily Job Hazard Analysis with crew membersDirect safety set-up and flagging operations for proper maintenance of traffic signageTrain other crew membersEffective maintenance, cleaning, and operation of vehicles, equipment, tools and suppliesAssist with daily vehicle pre-checks and completion of truck sheets Complete monthly survey equipment inventory for Supervisor reorderLoad and unload survey equipment and supplies  Set up survey tri-pods to provide backsite and foresight operations Cutting line Support Subsurface Utility Engineering services as requiredOther duties as requiredTech III Qualifications:High School Diploma/GEDValid driver's license and good driving record6-8 years of experience as a Survey Field Tech III or a Bachelor's Degree in SurveyingWillingness to travel up to 50% of the time, by company vehicle or commercial airline, up to 2 week continuous stay.Outdoor work in all climatesAbility to pass a pre-employment physical (U.S. only)Ability to stand and walk on smooth and uneven terrain for extended periods of timeAbility to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical activities to include bending, squatting, etc. related to carrying and operating survey equipment and other toolsMust have good oral and written communication skills and attention to detailWe Offer a Complete Benefits Package!In addition to the opportunity to grow and advance, we offer competitive salaries, paid training, and comprehensive benefits with options to meet your needs, including;Paid time offPaid holidaysCompany provided cell phone or cell phone allowanceMedical and prescription drug coverage – multiple plan optionsFlexible Spending (FSA), Dependent Care (DCA), or Health Savings (HSA) accountsDentalVisionWellness and Employee Assistance ProgramsParental, Family and Medical leave401-K retirement plan w/company matchLife insuranceShort / long term disabilityTuition reimbursementSpot and annual bonus incentivesEmployee discounts and perks* Please Note that selected candidates will be required to pass a drug, background, and reference screening.T2 Utility Engineers is an equal opportunity employer.
